Smart builds a Fortwo with wings
First shown at the Los Angeles auto show last year, the Smart forjeremy concept was a joint project with fashion designer Jeremy Scott, who operates in that rarefied air where he can be both hailed as a creative genius while appearing to trick wealthy people into paying top dollar for ugly clothes. Since the wing is his trademark symbol, Scott modified a Smart ForTwo by sticking a pair on its haunch, along with swaddling the interior in leather.

Cambodian Deities in Trees
Imagine,
if you will, walking through the streets of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It’s a
balmy evening, and while it’s dark you can still feel the day’s heat
rising from the pavement slabs. You have just finished watching a film
with friends, and you are returning to your inner city apartment.
Imagine your surprise when you see the ghostly image of Buddha appear
before you in the leaves of a tree. You blink yourself silly trying to
work out whether this is your moment of truth, or whether it is the work
of an amazing artist. Such was the dilemma facing Cambodians recently
during Clement Briend’s exhibition, Cambodian Trees.
French photographer Briend is very good at taking pictures. He is also very good at projecting digital images onto unassuming surfaces to create interesting dichotomies. During his time away from being a professor of art at University of Valenciennes, Clement traveled to Cambodia to explore this technique. Setting these night time incarnations against an urban backdrop gives his work a uniquely haunting appeal.
“It’s a beautiful surprise when the projected spirits awaken and reveal themselves at night as though they are made of the towering trees themselves. The photographic light installations echo the spirituality of the few sprouts of nature in the predominantly urban landscapes. It is a visual imagining of the divine figures that inhabit the world, as seen through an environmentally aware spiritual eye.” – Clement Briend

The World's Tallest Bicycle
It's hard to believe, but someone came up with the idea to build the world's tallest bike. And this one was the designer Richie Trimble. In the stories have already been attempts to build the longest or the most eco-friendly bike, but until now no one and had no idea. The unique 4.5-meter-long bike was designed specifically for the annual event CicLAvia VI, which constantly collects in Los Angeles, a lot of people, especially cycling enthusiasts.

Ride a bike, though this is not very convenient, but still it is quite possible, moreover, can be seen all around, as the palm. The only thing preventing hanging lights and signs, on which you can accidentally hit his head. Most importantly, time to bend his head to dodge the metal signage, etc.
Designer and at the same time devotee of cycling and veloprogulok only took 12 hours to bring his idea into reality and build the world's tallest bike. Surprised residents of Los Angeles, not to mention the police, in amazement and mouth wide open eyes when he saw a similar design on the roads of the city.
